Prepare for an unforgettable cultural extravaganza as Münster, Germany, hosts the "Showroom - Festivals of Museums and Galleries" from September 5th to 6th. This collaborative production, brought to you by Münster Marketing and the municipal Cultural Office, in cooperation with several other organisations, will transform the city's Domplatz Park into a vibrant hub of arts and entertainment.
The event kicks off on September 5th at 7:30 pm, with an official opening ceremony taking place from the balcony of the Erbdrostenhof. Honorary guests, including Mayor Markus Lewe and the chairman of the Salzstraßenviertel association, Matthias Lückertz, will be accompanied by pianist Gregor Hanke.
Throughout the evening, and also on the 6th, soprano Angela Park, mezzo-soprano Judith Gennrich, and tenor Youn-Seong Shim will captivate audiences with their enchanting performances of works by Giuseppe Verdi, Gioachino Rossini, and Vincenzo Bellini, also from the Erbdrostenhof balcony. The musical accompaniment for these performances is provided by a program of "Canzoni ed Arie Italiane" curated by Theater Münster.
Visitors can enjoy the event from 5:30 to 11 pm on September 5th and from 3 to 11 pm on September 6th. The event's location spans from Salzstraße across the Ehrenhof into the illuminated Erbdrostenhof.
