Renewable energy triumphs: Smart Energy Week concludes victoriously
In the heart of Japan, from February 19-21, 2025, the Smart Energy Week event took place at Tokyo Big Sight. Organised by RX Japan, this event is a significant part of a series that occurs three times a year in different locations across Japan.
Smart Energy Week is not just important for the energy sector, but also for the world's future and energy security. The focus of this event is renewable energy, making it pivotal during the global energy transition.
The event was attended by 68,860 visitors involved in the renewable energy market. Over 39 countries and regions were represented, including Australia, Latvia, Poland, Taiwan, Finland, and Singapore, demonstrating its global significance.
RX, a global company that specializes in organizing events, managed the event. RX is part of RELX, a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools. The company is committed to creating an inclusive work environment and making a positive impact on society.
The show floor was mapped into seven key areas: PV Expo, Wind Expo, Zero-E Thermal Expo, H2 & FC Expo, Battery Japan, Smart Grid Expo, Biomass Expo, and the Circular Economy Expo and Decarbonisation Expo. These zones provided a space for notable energy innovations and developments to thrive.

These events aim to provide a platform for discussions, networking, and the exchange of ideas, contributing to Japan's commitment to a sustainable future.
