However, a check of City Center's website revealed that Curry Up Now is listed as "Temporarily Closed for Renovations." This discrepancy prompted further investigation, as establishments within the popular shopping center typically get swift removals from the directory when they shut down.

Contrary to the renovation status, reports from Beyond the Creek suggested that a new restaurant named Khaki was placing signage in the windows of the Curry Up Now location during the renovation. To confirm this claim, we paid a visit and found new signs for an Indian food "Canteen" restaurant visible in those windows.

The confusion persists, as Curry Up Now remains closed. Whether the restaurant is rebranding to Khaki or closing its San Ramon location to make way for a new establishment is currently unclear.
