Report detailing the Commission's efforts in implementing the Community action plan for workplace safety accident prevention has been compiled.
In an effort to enhance public safety and order, the PrevCom department of the Ordnance Office in Gießen is setting up information booths across various city districts. These booths will provide a service for coding non-carbon bicycles, ensuring a secure and organised city.
The service is available for citizens who wish to have their bicycles coded. To avail of this service, proof of bicycle ownership is required. Regrettably, carbon bicycles are not eligible for coding at the information booths.
The PrevCom team will be available at these booths on specific days to discuss public safety and order matters with visitors. The team will be present at the information booths in Aldorf on September 11, 2025, Klein-Linden on October 7, 2025, Rödgen on September 23, 2025, and Petersweier on August 26, 2025.
All information booths will be located at the Fire Department Equipment House and will be open from 09:00 to 16:00. Citizens can exchange information with Ordnance Office employees about public safety and order at these booths as well.
It is important to note that visitors are expected to follow the rules regarding proof of ownership for the coding service. The information booths do not provide a service for coding carbon bicycles.
