The PreCom department of the Ordnance Office in Gießen is expanding its services to city districts, offering citizens a chance to exchange information about public safety and order. The department's information booth visits will be held at various locations, including Allendorf, Rödgen, and Klein-Linden.

Starting from September 11, 2025, the information booth will be set up in Allendorf. Citizens can visit the booth from 09:00 to 16:00 to receive information and have their bicycles coded on-site. It's important to note that proof of bicycle ownership is required for coding.

On September 23, 2025, the information booth will make its way to Rödgen, followed by a visit to Klein-Linden on October 7, 2025. All visits will take place at the Fire Department Equipment House.

The PreCom department's information booth visits are not limited to city districts and may include services beyond bicycle coding. However, it's worth mentioning that certain types of bicycles, such as carbon bicycles, are not eligible for coding at the information booth.

The information booth offers a wealth of information about public safety and order. Employees of the Public Order Office (Ordnungsamt), often in cooperation with the Volunteer Police Service (Freiwilliger Polizeidienst), will be present to provide detailed information.

The PreCom team has specified dates for visits to the information booth. Citizens in city districts are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about public safety and order in their neighbourhoods. For the most up-to-date information on the exact dates and locations of the information booth visits, please check with the PreCom department or your local authorities.
