Reports Arising from the Lake District in PP Ravensburg
In the past week, several incidents have taken place across Upper Swabia, including a series of traffic accidents and a burglary.
On Monday night, a rucksack was stolen from an unlocked car parked in "Zum Salm" street, Überlingen. Witnesses who observed suspicious persons between 10 PM and 6 AM are asked to call 07551/804-0. The stolen rucksack contained a wallet with various documents. Unfortunately, the thief left the stolen rucksack, without the valuables, in "Zum Hecht" street.
On Tuesday evening at around 9:45 PM on Bundesstraße 31 near Immenstaad, a truck lost two wheels during its journey, causing them to roll onto the opposite lane and strike the front of an oncoming VW. The total material damage to the vehicles was approximately 18,000 euros. The truck could only continue after repairs the next morning. The road was closed for the accident investigation and recovery operations until about 12:45 PM.
On the same day, at around 11:15 AM in Markdorfer Straße, Ravensburg, a three-vehicle collision occurred, resulting in three damaged cars. The total damage to the vehicles was approximately 3,000 euros each. No injuries were reported in this incident.
On Tuesday at around 11:15 AM, a child in the middle VW sustained minor facial injuries in a collision that occurred around 10:45 AM on Wednesday, just before the turn-off to Bambergen. The exact cause of the collision is still under investigation.
In another incident on the L 200, a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries due to a collision with a Caddy. The details of this accident are yet to be fully disclosed.
On Monday evening, two vehicles collided on Wangener Straße at Baumgarten in Tettnang. A 45-year-old BMW driver attempted to turn onto the main road and allegedly failed to notice a VW driver, causing the collision at the intersection. The 31-year-old passenger in the VW sustained minor injuries.
Meanwhile, on Monday evening, a 55-year-old man was arrested near a crime scene in Pfaffenbergstraße, Ravensburg, suspected of burglary. Burglary tools were found on the arrested man. The burglary occurred at a single-family home in Pfaffenbergstraße.
The Friedrichshafen Criminal Police are leading the investigations into the incident on Bundesstraße 31, while the police headquarters of Ravensburg is handling the burglary case.
