Reports Emerging from the Lake District in Ravensburg
In the picturesque Lake Constance region, several incidents have been reported over the past few days, ranging from shoplifting to serious financial scams and health emergencies.
In Heiligenberg, a senior citizen suffered a significant financial loss after being scammed by an imposter posing as a police officer or prosecutor. The individual handed over gold worth a five-digit euro amount. The police have initiated investigations and are appealing for any witnesses who noticed suspicious persons or vehicles in the Steigen district on Wednesday afternoon to contact the Criminal Police Friedrichshafen at 07541/701-0.
Two suspects were caught shoplifting in an unspecified location, with one fleeing after being confronted by an employee. The other suspect broke free, punched the employee, and also fled.
In Meersburg, police are investigating a shoplifting incident that occurred around 12:30 on Wednesday in a supermarket on Daisendorfer Straße.
