Reports Surface from Police Stations on September 8, 2025
In a series of events, the police in Halle (Saale) and surrounding areas have been kept busy with a variety of incidents over the past few days.
On Monday, an e-scooter accident involving a woman under the influence of alcohol occurred in the city. The police are currently investigating the incident, and a blood sample was taken from the driver, with their license being secured. As a result, the man was not allowed to continue driving. Additionally, stolen license plates from a van parked in Halle (Saale)'s Rigaer Straße have been issued for search.
In a separate incident, a cyclist in Talstraße fell and was seriously injured, requiring hospitalization on Sunday evening. The police are investigating the traffic accident.
In Oppin, two unknown individuals were observed loading a small excavator at 1:30 a.m., and a patrol car intercepted them. According to the individuals, they were transporting the excavator to another construction site on behalf of a construction company.
This year's Kobermannchen Festival in Sangerhausen resulted in 9 criminal charges, including bodily harm, insults, and resistance.
In Salzatal, a pilot reported being dazzled by a light beam at 3:20 a.m., which may have come from a laser pointer. The police are investigating this potential dangerous interference with air traffic.
Elsewhere in Röblingen, a car driver was found to have a breathalyzer value of 2.15 per mille on Sunday morning.
In a residential burglary that occurred in a village of Teutschenthal's municipality on Monday, unknown perpetrators gained access via a terrace door. However, it is not yet clear whether the perpetrators made any profit during the burglary. The crime scene has been secured, and the police station is investigating.
No cash or credit cards were stolen during the burglary, and there is no information in the search results about a person being arrested on 08.09.2025 around 7 a.m. for driving under the influence of alcohol or the location of such an arrest.
Finally, the police in Leipzig are investigating a case of dangerous interference with air traffic.
