Rescued an individual who found himself in Tanaro, located in Barbaresco
On Saturday, August 23, a rescue operation was initiated along the Tanaro River near Barbaresco, following a report of a man in the water. The operation, which involved Carabinieri, the 118 team, firefighters from Alba, and volunteers from the Santo Stefano Belbo detachment, concluded successfully.
The operation started in the late morning, with Alba's firefighters arriving at the scene with trucks, a van, and a rescue boat. The exact location of the man's rescue along the Tanaro was not specified. However, the rescue boat, trucks, and van from Alba's firefighters were instrumental in the operation.
The man, identified as Bruno Barbero, was successfully reached and secured. He was then handed over to the 118 personnel, who coordinated his transfer to the hospital in Verduno for further medical checks. Unfortunately, no further details about Mr. Barbero's condition were provided post-rescue.
