Revamped Toy Car Hits the Road Again!
The city of Passau is gearing up for an exciting month of August, as the Playmobile event returns for its annual run. This year, the event will visit five locations across the city, one more than in previous years.
The Playmobile event, organised by the city of Passau in conjunction with the Herbstdult festival held at Messepark Kohlbruck from September 5 to 14, 2025, aims to promote children's own initiative and awaken their imagination and playfulness.
The event kicks off on August 4th at St. Korona Playground, followed by a stop at Bschüttpark Passau on August 8th. From August 11th to 13th, the event will be held at Spielplatz Westerburgerstraße. The Tennis-Club Passau-Neustift will host the event from August 18th to 21st, and the Breslauer Straße Playground will be the final stop from August 25th to 28th.
Each location offers a colorful range of creative, entertaining, and playful activities designed by the City Youth Ring with great commitment and pedagogical competence. The event is conceptually and personally designed to stimulate children's minds and foster their creativity.
Children aged 6 to 12 are invited to participate in the event, which does not offer care but has an open character, allowing children to decide when to participate. It's important to note that the main and volunteer staff of the Passau City Youth Ring will be on site daily from 13:00 to 17:00 to ensure the smooth running of the activities.
Participation in the Playmobile event is free and without registration, making it accessible to all children in the city. However, in case of rain, the event is cancelled to ensure the safety of all participants.
The Playmobile event is a significant part of the Herbstdult festival, which includes various attractions and celebrations involving the city administration.
