Road mishap in Arnsberg-Obereimer: Two individuals discovered pinned in the wreckage
In the small town of Obereimer, located in Arnsberg, a significant traffic accident occurred on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at around 14:58. The incident took place at the Kreuzung, a junction in Obereimer/Herbreme, where two motor vehicles were involved.
The accident resulted in one vehicle being thrown onto its side. Two occupants were trapped inside, and they were swiftly rescued by the local fire department, led by the fire department commander, the head of emergency medical services, and the police chief of the district. The rescue operation was carried out in close cooperation with the main fire station and the fire brigades of Arnsberg and Bruchhausen-Niedereimer.
The vehicle lying on its side was secured and then righted with the help of a multi-purpose vehicle. Patient-oriented rescue was conducted jointly with the fire department's emergency service and the Hagelstein emergency service.
Four people were injured in the accident, but the exact nature of their injuries is not specified. After initial treatment at the scene, all four injured persons were transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
The police have initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident. The news was originally transmitted by the Arnsberg City Fire Department.
