Roadway collisions prove fatal for motorcyclists
Yesterday afternoon, a tragic traffic accident occurred on Blankenfelder Straße, towards Berliner Straße in French Bookholz, Germany.
The accident involved a 30-year-old woman driving an Opel and another motorcyclist. The woman turned left into a vacant parking spot opposite a property entrance, and the motorcyclist, attempting to overtake her car, was involved in the collision.
The motorcyclist, who was 42 years old, was rushed to the hospital, but despite the efforts of emergency services to revive him, he later succumbed to his injuries. The woman was unharmed in the accident.
The accident resulted in the closure of Blankenfelder Straße until around 6:30 PM. The BVG Line 154 and the S8 replacement service were also affected by the accident closure.
At this time, the member of the special commission for traffic violations of Directorate 1 leading the further investigations into the accident is not publicly specified.
