Rock band Radiohead is set for performances in Berlin, Germany.
British rock band Radiohead is set to make a comeback in Germany this year, with four concerts scheduled for December. The concerts, taking place on the 8th, 9th, 11th, and 12th, will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin.
Registrations for tickets will begin this Friday, September 5, at 11:00 AM CET and will close after 72 hours. Fans can register on the official band website to secure their tickets.
The band members have been on a seven-year hiatus before their recent rehearsals, and they felt a deep connection to their musical identity during these sessions.
In addition to their work with Radiohead, singer Thom Yorke and guitarist Jonny Greenwood are also involved in a project named The Smile, which they formed with jazz drummer Tom Skinner in 2022. However, due to Jonny Greenwood's illness in July 2024, The Smile had to cancel their planned European concerts. Greenwood required intensive care due to his illness, and his illness also affected the planned European concerts of The Smile.
The Smile had planned additional 16 shows this winter in Madrid, Bologna, London, and Copenhagen, but these too were cancelled. Drummer Philip Selway of Radiohead announced rehearsals last year for fun, but it seems that the band's musical comeback was more than just a casual venture.
The actual ticket sale will begin on September 12, so mark your calendars if you don't want to miss out on this exciting musical event. Let's welcome Radiohead back to the stage and celebrate their return to the music scene!
