The platform, accessible via Roka London's existing e-commerce site, aims to extend the life of Roka London's products and promote a culture of reuse and recycling. According to Lydia Hartley, every Roka London bag has a unique story, making it worth sharing and keeping those stories going.
Roka London's designer, Katz, stated that the resale platform was a natural extension due to the durability of their bags. Katz also emphasised that resale isn't just a trend but the future of fashion.
The collaboration with Continue isn't new for the British company. Continue has previously collaborated with several small-to-medium British brands, including Wyse, Motal, and Scamp & Dude, on similar circular services.
With this initiative, customers can buy and sell authenticated Roka London items on the platform, facilitating the rehoming of Roka London bags within the community. Co-founder Lydia Hartley invites customers to pass on their bags to someone new within the community.
