Rose garden will remain closed for maintenance until the arrival of spring in 2026.
The Rose Garden fountain in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, has been out of operation due to a defect in its pump. StadtGrún Bergisch Gladbach, the city's green space management, expresses its apologies for any inconvenience caused by the fountain's continued malfunction.
A thorough inspection revealed the cause of the fountain's malfunction, and unfortunately, no further repair for the defective pump has been found to be possible. In light of this, StadtGrún Bergisch Gladbach has ordered a new pump from the company KSB for the reactivation of the fountain basin in Rosenhain.
The new pump is expected to arrive by the end of the year, and the installation will take place after the end of the frost period in the coming spring to avoid potential damage to the new equipment. The fountain is expected to resume operation in the spring of 2026.
StadtGrún Bergisch Gladbach looks forward to resuming the operation of the Rose Garden fountain and is excited to see it back in action next year. The city appreciates the patience and understanding of the community during this time and is committed to ensuring the fountain's proper functioning for years to come.
Unfortunately, due to current delivery times for the new pump, the delay in the fountain's operation persists. However, StadtGrún Bergisch Gladbach remains optimistic and is working diligently to get the fountain up and running as soon as possible. The city will continue to keep the community updated on the progress of the installation and the expected resumption of the fountain's operation.
