In a sad turn of events, Valencian singer Pedro Bermúdez, known artistically as Azuquita, has passed away at the age of 47 in Palma de Mallorca. The news has left the music industry and his fans in shock.

Azuquita was a member of the popular band Rumba Kings and was known for his unique personality and talent. The band stated that Azuquita was unique as a person and as an artist, and it's not a goodbye but a see you later.

Azuquita's career took off in the 90s, when he released three albums between 1994 and 1997: 'Rumbakalao', 'Escucha que te digo', and 'Sinelo Kalo'. 'Sinelo Kalo' featured a popular version of 'Gangsta's Paradise' titled 'Rejas de cristal'.

One of Azuquita's most notable collaborations was with German singer Matthias Reim, resulting in a bilingual version of 'Verdammt ich lieb dich'.

Azuquita invented a music style called 'rumbakalao', which is a fusion of Spanish rumba and bakalao. This collaboration opened doors for Azuquita to perform on international stages.

The band Rumba Kings has expressed their grief over Azuquita's passing, referring to him as their family and their brother. They believe that Azuquita will always be a Rumba Kings.

The wake for Azuquita will take place on Saturday at the Son Valentí crematorium. The cause of Azuquita's death has not been disclosed.
