Ukraine has made a series of claims regarding attacks on Russian military units stationed on the Crimean Peninsula. On November 10, Ukrainian special forces reportedly conducted operations against these units, targeting key installations.

The Ukrainian military intelligence service HUR reported a successful operation against a Russian radar station on the Crimean peninsula. According to news agency Ukrinform, citing HUR sources, combat drones destroyed the radar guidance system and other components of a Russian S-400 air defense system.

A short video clip, which could not be independently verified, shows a drone approaching a radar dome. The impact of this attack on the radar station's operations is unknown.

In addition, several missiles were fired at a Russian base in Voloschino on the coast, resulting in the destruction of at least six air-cushioned landing ships. The impact of a missile strike on a barracks in Voloschino remains unknown.

Furthermore, combat drones were used in an attack on a base near Simferopol, reportedly destroying at least three helicopters. However, no reports have been made regarding the impact or damage of this attack on the base.

It's important to note that the Russian side has not provided any reports regarding these claimed attacks. The exact nature and extent of the damage to the Russian military units on the Crimean Peninsula remain unconfirmed.

These incidents mark a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, particularly since the annexation of Crimea by Russia in 2014. Both sides have been accused of violating international law and human rights in the region.

As the situation continues to evolve, it is crucial for all parties involved to prioritise diplomacy and de-escalation to avoid further conflict and protect the lives of civilians and military personnel.
