Russian forces under assault in Crimea by Ukrainian troops
In a series of unverified reports, the Ukrainian military intelligence service, HUR, claims to have conducted successful operations against Russian units on the occupied Crimean peninsula.
According to the news agency Ukrinform, the operation targeted a Russian radar station near Simferopol, with combat drones reportedly destroying at least three helicopters. The radar guidance system and other components of a Russian S-400 air defense system were also allegedly destroyed.
Additionally, several rockets were fired at a Russian base in Voloschino on the coast, destroying at least six air-cushioned landing ships, according to the reports. However, the impact on a barracks in the base remains unknown.
The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) is said to be responsible for these attacks, with confirmed sabotage on the strategically important Crimean Bridge on February 1.
Despite these claims, there have been no reports from the Russian side regarding these incidents. The report of these operations could not be independently confirmed.
It's important to note that these reports are unverified and should be taken with caution. As the situation continues to develop, more information may become available. Stay tuned for updates.
