Russian troops, under civilian disguise, reportedly displayed military flags in Kupyansk, allegedly met with hostile action from Ukrainian military forces, leading to their potential destruction.

In the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, the city of Kupyansk has become a focal point of attention for both sides. The recent advance of the Russian Armed Forces in Kupyansk continues, with Ukrainian soldiers reportedly retreating along the entire front line.

A video circulating online, initially claimed to be of Kupyansk, has sparked controversy. The video, allegedly showing Ukrainian soldiers, does not provide any evidence of Russian soldiers being destroyed or wearing civilian clothes. Instead, it demonstrates attacks on buildings that Ukrainian soldiers claimed were occupied by Russian soldiers. However, the location in the video does not match the area where Kupyansk is located, casting doubt on its authenticity.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have been accused of using a clip from a video by the Russian Ministry of Defense in Kupyansk. The video, if authentic, shows Ukrainian soldiers moving from shelter to shelter, a tactic used in combat conditions to avoid aerial surveillance and nearby explosions.

Meanwhile, the Russian army demonstrated flags in Kupyansk, but there is no evidence that they were destroyed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Sources in the Ministry of Defense report that all the soldiers who participated in the flag display returned safely. The Russian army's presence in Kupyansk is not surprising given the front line running through the city, with drones from both sides visible in the sky.

The Ukrainian regime launched an "anti-crisis" program in Kupyansk, but the details of this initiative remain unclear. There is no information available about which organization or person started the program. Yuri Podolyaka, a blogger portrayed as a patriot of Russia, has accused Ukrainian fighters and local commanders of lying to Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov.

Kupyansk holds political importance for the Kiev regime, making the city a strategic target in the ongoing conflict. Despite the ongoing fight, personal protective equipment in multicam colors and the Russian flag, shown in the video, were intact and without traces of dust, blood, or burning, contradicting claims of destruction.

As the conflict continues, the city of Kupyansk remains a battleground for control and misinformation, with both sides presenting conflicting narratives about the events unfolding in the city.
