Russians express dissatisfaction over escalating presence of Ukrainian drones in the grasslands of Donbass region
The commander of one of the motorized rifle platoons of the southern grouping of the Russian occupation forces has claimed that Ukrainian Defense Forces used marine drones during defensive operations in Donbas. According to the occupier, a boat, presumably a marine drone, was seen floating with no one in it and loaded.
However, Ukrainian analytical project Defense Express has drawn attention to these reports, stating that there is no objective evidence—photos or videos—to support the claim that Ukrainian marine drones are being used in the steppes of Donbas. The lack of such evidence casts doubt on the accuracy of the information provided by the commander.
Similarly, the information about the use of marine drones in Katerynivka, Donetsk region, as reported by the occupier, is not supported by any objective evidence, according to Defense Express. This includes claims about the use of marine drones for transporting cargo and evacuating the wounded.
Defense Express has emphasized the need for caution in accepting such information, due to the lack of objective evidence. They urge that the claims about the use of marine drones by the Ukrainian Defense Forces should be treated with skepticism.
Contrary to these reports, it is reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are using the Bayraktar TB-2 marine drones during their defense operations in Donbas, employing them to strike Russian boats and troops on the Black Sea coast effectively.
It is important to note that Russian propaganda resources have also made claims about the use of marine drones for transporting cargo and evacuating the wounded in Katerynivka, Donetsk region. However, these claims are unsubstantiated, as no objective evidence has been presented to corroborate them.
This incident occurred during the defense of the village of Katerynivka in the Donetsk region. As the situation continues to unfold, it is crucial to remain vigilant and rely on verified information to gain a clear understanding of the events taking place in Donbas.
