With the racing season in full swing, several developments have emerged that could impact this weekend's events. Here's a roundup of the latest news:

At Chester, race 3 in the 4.25 slot, Acrisius has been reported to have a bad scope. In the same race, Running Queen has a bruised foot, and Array is coughing, while Thunder Roar has a bruised foot in race 8. Additionally, race 11, Flying Finn, and race 13, Perfect Part, have an abscess and a temperature issue, respectively.

Over at Sandown, the 3.15 race, 3, features Array, and race 8 is affected by Thunder Roar's bruised foot. The hot favourite for the feature BetMGM Solario Stakes (3.35), Publish, has been withdrawn. In the 3.42 races, Jazzit and Symphony of Joy are entered, and in the 4.17 race, Harb is traveling. The 4.45 race sees Mr Writer listed, but race 4, Lohoobb, is lame. In race 1, Crown of Oaks, the going is not specified, and races 7, 8, 9, 11, and 13 have been announced for Angel Hunter, Walson's Law, Arctic Grey, Cavolo Nero, Theory of Tides, and Gaassee, respectively.

Unfortunately, Ryan Moore has been stood down due to injury and will miss five rides, including the Heider Family Stables Round Tower Stakes (2.52), Hawk Mountain (1.45), Sugar Island (2.20), Easy Mover (3.27), and the Irish Cambridgeshire (4.37). Wayne Lordan will ride in Moore's absence for the mentioned races.

The ground at Sandown is soft, but it has been dry overnight, and no further showers are expected until after racing. In contrast, the ground is good to firm, good in places at Beverley and Chester. There are 20 non-runners at Sandown due to the soft ground.

In the betting market, Adrestia, trained by Simon and Ed Crisford, has been attracting support for the William Hill Beverley Bullet Sprint Stakes (2.05), shortening to 4-1. A Bit Of Spirit, trained by Clive Cox, has shortened to 3-1 for the BetMGM Solario Stakes (3.35) and is the most experienced runner in the lineup.

Lastly, Cathedral is out of the BetMGM Atalanta Stakes (2.25). The replacement jockey for Ryan Moore on Hawk Mountain, Sugar Island, Easy Mover, and Godwinson on Saturday is yet to be specified. In the 2.40 race at Chester, Tashkhan and Too Soon are entered, and in the 5.00 race, Candy, Jungle Drums, Dyonisos, Francisco's Piece, Running Queen, Marty Hopkirk, Wobwobwob, King of Stars, Moulin Booj, Another Abbot, Emeralds Pride, Aces Wild, Distant Rumble, Spring Bloom, Give It To Me Oj, and Green Team are listed.
