In an announcement made by the new CEO of Schiesser, Sonja Balodis, the traditional textile company revealed its plans for expansion. The announcement was published in the "South Kurier" on a Thursday.
Schiesser, a renowned laundry manufacturer based in Konstanz, has been successful in maintaining a balance across all its distribution channels, including own stores, direct sales, and stationary retail. The company currently operates 110 own stores and sells products directly to customers via their website.
According to Balodis, approximately half of Schiesser's products are sold through their own stores or directly to customers online. The remaining half is sold through stationary retail. This successful strategy has contributed to Schiesser achieving over 200 million euros in turnover during the 2024 business year, as reported by Balodis.
This trend of growth continued in the first half of 2025, marking a significant increase compared to the previous year. With this momentum, Schiesser is now planning to open 25 new stores in Europe by 2027.
The new stores will be strategically located in Europe to cater to the majority of Schiesser's customer base, which consists of individuals aged between 40 and 60 years old, according to Balodis.
To further boost its growth, Schiesser is also launching a marketing offensive to gain more attention. The company, which is currently owned by the Israeli textile conglomerate Delta Galil, is confident that these strategies will help it solidify its position in the European market.
This expansion plan is a testament to Schiesser's commitment to growth and its dedication to providing high-quality products to its customers across Europe.
