In Mumbai, schools and government offices will be closed for the Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi holiday. The change in the holiday date was made to avoid overlapping with Ganesh Chaturthi immersion processions held on September 6.
Banks in Mumbai will also be closed for the Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi holiday, but financial markets will continue to function normally. It is important to note that this holiday is not a national holiday, and many businesses and institutions may remain open across India.
