"Seafront Open-Air Dance Event Featuring DJ René on the Niendorf Balcony Happens Again"
The popular event series "Dancing by the Sea" will not be returning to Niendorf/Ostsee this summer, as announced by organisers. However, the much-loved event will resume from October 2025, taking place in the Trinkkurhalle instead.
Originally held at the Niendorfer Balkon, "Dancing by the Sea" has been a staple in the region, offering a lively evening with a varied mix of music. The event, which appeals to both young and old, is known for its diverse selection of music, with DJ René Kleinschmidt providing a mix that includes current charts, Schlager, oldies, dance classics, summer hits, and waltzes.
Known for his 35-year career as a disc jockey and moderator, DJ René Kleinschmidt has been a mainstay at "Dancing by the Sea" events. His long-standing stage career has made him a cult figure in the region, and his performances at the event have become a highlight for many.
In case of inclement weather, the event may be cancelled. However, for those planning to attend, each instance of "Dancing by the Sea" in the Trinkkurhalle will start at 7 pm and run until 10 pm. The dates for the upcoming events are October 7th, 10th, November 21st, and December 12th, 2025.
The event is presented by Timmendorfer Strand Niendorf Tourism GmbH (TSNT GmbH), and is renowned for offering a unique and enjoyable experience for all who attend. Despite the change of location, the spirit of "Dancing by the Sea" remains the same - a night of fun, music, and dance by the sea or in the Trinkkurhalle.
For those who missed out on the summer series, fear not, as "Dancing by the Sea" will return in October 2025, promising to bring the same energy, music, and atmosphere that has made it a beloved event in the region.
