Search parties have yet to locate the body of the 78-year-old missing hunter
In the rural village of Voyvozh, local authorities and volunteers are working tirelessly to locate a missing person, 78-year-old Alexander Golyshev. Golyshev, a pensioner and an avid hunter, went missing on August 28th while picking berries.
Golyshev is described as having a slim build, standing at 170 cm tall, and wearing a distinctive outfit. He was last seen wearing green camouflage pants, a green camouflage jacket, dark boots, a black hat, and carrying a blue plastic basket.
The Troitsko-Pechorsky Emergency Rescue Squad "SPAS-KOMI" and volunteers from "Lisa Alert" in Komi have been conducting repeated searches for Golyshev in the area where he was last seen. Despite multiple attempts, no traces of him have been found so far.
Golyshev has some health issues, which make his disappearance even more concerning. The public is being asked to report any information they might have about his whereabouts to the hotline 8-800-700-54-52 (free within Russia) or 02.
