The Chinese automaker SAIC is set to unveil a slightly revamped version of its popular model, the Roewe 750, at the Beijing Auto Show next week.

Originally known as the Rover 75, the rights to the car were acquired by SAIC Motor, the same company that produces the 750. The Roewe brand is now known as Shanghai-Roewe.

The 1999 model car has been given a makeover to look slightly younger. The biggest change in the 750's design is on the front, with a different bumper and air intakes. In addition, the light clusters on the 750 now incorporate LEDs, giving the car a more modern look.

While the focus is on the 750, it's not the only Roewe model making headlines. The Roewe D6 recently set a new Guinness power consumption record for electric vehicles in China. The Roewe D7 NEV sedan was also launched in China, starting at an affordable price of 17,300 USD.

Moreover, SAIC's affordable Roewe M7 PHEV has started pre-sale at 13,700 USD. With these affordable and efficient options, SAIC is making electric vehicles more accessible to the masses.

The Beijing Auto Show is an exciting event for the automotive industry, and the unveiling of the facelifted Roewe 750 is sure to be a highlight. Stay tuned for more updates as the show approaches.
