September 2025 Overtures from the Supervising Authority
The Workers' Welfare Education Center in Bergisch Gladbach is hosting a series of informative events in September, focusing on topics relevant to every stage of life. These sessions cover power of attorney, patient's directive, and legal representation in case of dementia.
On Friday, 5th September 2025, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM, Claudia Freudenberger, an employee of the municipal care authority of Bergisch Gladbach, will present the topic of a patient's directive. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and gather more information after the presentation.
The following Friday, on 12th September 2025, the same time slot will be dedicated to the topic of power of attorney and guardianship. Claudia Freudenberger will provide insights into the most important backgrounds, the form, and the possibilities of use of a power of attorney. She can also certify powers of attorney on site for a fee of 10 euros.
On Wednesday, 17th September 2025, at 12:00 PM, a lecture about legal representation possibilities in case of dementia will take place at DRK Refrather Treff, Steinbrecher Weg 2, 51427 Bergisch Gladbach.
The admission fee for all events is 5 €. Registration for the events is required by phone and should be completed by the respective deadlines: 4th September 2025 for the power of attorney and guardianship lecture, and 11th September 2025 for the patient's directive and legal representation in case of dementia sessions.
