September 7th Russian Assault in Dnipropetrovsk Region: Eight Individuals Sustaining Injuries
In a significant development, Romania, Hungary, and Czechia have successfully dismantled a Belarusian spy network in Europe, according to reports. However, no concrete countries have been named as the location where the network was uncovered or dismantled.
Meanwhile, in Ukraine, Russian attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on 7 September have resulted in casualties. Initially, eight people were injured, but four additional injuries were reported, bringing the total to 12. The attacks occurred in the Nikopol district, with Kryvyi Rih and the Mezhova hromada of the Synelnykove district being particularly affected.
In Kryvyi Rih, another person sought medical help, adding to the total of four injured in the city. Two of the injured remain hospitalised. Another house caught fire as a result of the attacks, adding to the destruction in the region. Three of the new injuries occurred in the Mezhova hromada.
The attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast used FPV drones and heavy artillery, causing damage to infrastructure facilities, an administrative building, a five-storey residential building, and a house. The city of Nikopol and the Marhanets, Pokrov, Chervonohryhorivka, and Myrove hromadas were also struck.
Elsewhere in Ukraine, an oil depot is ablaze in Russia's Belgorod Oblast after a drone attack, although it is unclear if this is related to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
In a separate development, the European Commission has revealed details of talks on sanctions against Russia, following a meeting in Washington.
