Severe Bicycle Accident Results in Critical Injuries
A traffic accident on the southern cycle path of Wilhelmstraße in Hamm left a local cyclist with severe injuries. The incident occurred at approximately 7:30 PM on August 28, 2022.
The cyclist, a 55-year-old resident of Hamm, was intending to cross the intersection of Wilhelmstraße/Radbodstraße heading north. Unfortunately, a vehicle from the city of Hamm, driven by another local resident, turned left into Wilhelmstraße at the intersection, leading to the collision.
The cyclist was immediately transported to a hospital in Hamm for further treatment. The hospital is where the cyclist's ongoing treatment is currently taking place. The cyclist's current location is also the hospital in Hamm.
