Severe Collision on B 212 in Ganderkesee, Leaves Two Critically Injured and Four with Light Injuries (Oldenburg District)
Traffic Accident on Grüppenbührener Landstraße, Ganderkesee
On the 6th of September, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred on the Grüppenbührener Landstraße (B 212) in Ganderkesee, Germany. The accident involved two cars and a motorcycle, resulting in a total damage estimate of 10,000 euros.
According to reports from the Police Inspectorate Delmenhorst / Oldenburg - Rural / Wesermarsch, the incident occurred when a 25-year-old resident of Ganderkesee, who was driving one of the cars, failed to notice that the car ahead had stopped. Despite attempting to swerve left, the young driver collided with the car in front and also collided with an oncoming motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, a 62-year-old resident of Brake, and his 63-year-old passenger sustained severe injuries. They were transported by rescue helicopter to a hospital. The occupants of the other car, all residents of Ganderkesee, sustained minor injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance.
The Grüppenbührener Landstraße was closed for investigation and cleaning until 16:15. The accident resulted in two people with severe injuries and four with minor injuries.
