Sixty-plus novice recruits start with PwC in the Channel Islands
PwC, the leading professional services firm, has welcomed 62 new recruits to its trainee programme in Jersey and Guernsey. The participants in PwC's trainee programs typically have academic backgrounds in finance, accounting, economics, or related fields and are often recent graduates or early career professionals seeking practical experience in professional services.
According to Chris van den Berg, PwC's CI Partner, the new trainees received a "very warm welcome." Mr van den Berg reiterated PwC's pride in welcoming a diverse group of new trainees, emphasising the importance of having people from different backgrounds and talents working together at PwC.
The trainees will work across all parts of PwC's business, gaining valuable experience in traditional accounting, advisory, and tax traineeships. They will also have the opportunity to learn "critical technical skills" during the programme.

In addition to its traditional trainee programmes, PwC offers the Flying Start programme in collaboration with the University of Plymouth, accessed via University College Jersey. The firm also offers a Digital Degree Apprenticeship in association with the University of Exeter.
