Oberasbach Skate Park Vandalised by Unknown Youth Group

A group of nine youths is suspected of causing significant damage to the Skate Park Oberasbach in Stein, Middle Franconia, on August 16, 2025. The vandalism, which included setting fire to a park bench and spraying graffiti, is estimated to have cost the city administration around 5,000 euros.

The incident occurred in the District Fürth, and witnesses reported seeing a burning pile of rubble in the Jahrstraße area around 9:30 AM. The fire department was promptly alerted and extinguished the fire.

Among the vandalised items were a park bench, whose wooden boards were set on fire, and several sprayed graffiti in the Skate Park. The bench was completely torn out of its anchorage due to the vandalism.

The identity of the individuals belonging to the youth group is not disclosed in the available information.
