Solstice unveiled an exciting video trailer for their upcoming live release titled "Clann Live"!
UK prog rock band Solstice is set to release a new live offering, Clann Live: The Colchester Gathering, on August 1. This exciting release will be available for purchase on Solstice's website and Bandcamp page, as well as for digital download.
The live album and concert film, which will include a 1hr 45min set covering most of Solstice's latest album, Clann, as well as tracks from Sia, Light Up, and their back catalogue, were recorded at Colchester's Arts Centre during the Clann Tour.
Solstice's guitarist, Andy Glass, stated that they were determined to document the Clann Tour and managed to capture the Colchester Arts Centre show. He described the performance as a "cracking night!"
The setlist for Solstice's live performances includes songs such as Firefly, Shout, Life, Plunk, Frippa, Earthsong, Bulbul Tarang, Wongle No. 9, Mount Ephraim, A New Day, and Morning Light.
In addition to the Milton Keynes performance on August 30, Solstice will also play at Jellyman's Mill, Kidderminster on August 31. The band will also perform at the Wokingham Festival on August 25.
It's important to note that the live performances do not relate to the support of Solstice's most recent studio album, Clann. The digital-only release, Clann Live: The Colchester Gathering, which was recorded during the Clann Tour, is not available for purchase at the live performances.
The concert film will also be available in its entirety, but the live album and concert film will not be available for purchase on Solstice's website or Bandcamp page during the live performances. Fans eager to catch Solstice's energetic performances and hear their favourite tracks from Clann and their back catalogue should mark their calendars for August 1.
