Spending extravagantly on shopping, frequent travels abroad, and employing seven nannies for five children: a closer look at the luxurious lifestyle of Elena Tovstyk, Russia's wealthy spouse
In the heart of Moscow's upscale Rublevka neighbourhood, a mansion registered to Elena Tovstik buzzes with activity. Ten individuals, including seven nannies, a housekeeper, two drivers, and approximately five hired workers, keep the grand estate running smoothly.
Elena Tovstik, a name synonymous with luxury and controversy, finds herself embroiled in a high-profile divorce battle with her estranged husband, Roman Tovstik. The division of their six children and the determination of their place of residence is a critical issue in the ongoing lawsuit.
The eldest son currently lives with grandparents, while the other two desire to live with their father. The three younger ones remain with Elena. This complex family arrangement has been a topic of public interest, with the hearing set for September 22.
Elena Tovstik has admitted to turning a blind eye to many things due to the lavish life her husband provided. However, recent reports suggest that she still harbours feelings for Roman and is open to reconciliation.
Roman Tovstik left Elena for Polina Dibrova, who also filed for divorce from her husband, Dmitry Dibrov. In a surprising turn of events, Roman has offered Elena a billion rubles and promised to support her and all six of their children for 30 years.
However, this promise has not been fulfilled in Russia, causing a stir in the ongoing divorce proceedings. Roman's billion includes properties in Cyprus, Turkey, and a mansion in Rublevka, worth around 500 million rubles, as well as cash.
Elena's lawyer, Ekaterina Gordon, has claimed that there was no peaceful agreement and that Elena was trying to be thrown out onto the street with nothing. In response, Roman has expressed his hope to conclude the divorce negotiations peacefully without additional media injections.
Ekaterina Gordon has also stated that she is standing up for Elena, who has been abandoned by everyone. The division of three apartments in Italy and Dubai is still being discussed.
Since the beginning of the year, Elena has spent more than 14 million rubles on purchases and beauty services. Despite the tumultuous circumstances, Elena has been making public appearances, including a recent party at the "Ritz Carlton" on August 27.
The Tovstiks' divorce has been aired on four shows hosted by Andrei Malakhov, further intensifying public interest in the high-profile case. As the court hearing approaches, the future of the Tovstik family remains uncertain. Yet, one thing is clear: the saga of Elena Tovstik and Roman Tovstik is far from over.
