Sports entertainment provider, STN, is preparing for its debut at Treasure Island and Mesquite casinos.

Station Casinos is set to extend its STN Sports brand to exciting new locations across Nevada! The Nevada Gaming Control Board has ‘greenlighted’ the proposal for STN Sports to run sportsbook kiosks at Treasure Island on the Las Vegas Strip, as well as at CasaBlanca Resort and Virgin River Hotel & Casino in Mesquite.

The NV Gaming Commission will be reviewing the proposal on April 24, with final approval expected. If it goes through, the kiosks will flip the switch in late May 2025.

The Treasure Island launch will mark the first time Station Casinos brings sportsbook services to the Strip. They'll be using the Stadium Technology Group platform to start, but eventually, they'll switch to the slick GameSTACK 2.0 developed by GAN Limited. This upgrade will unlock enhanced betting options such as in-game wagers and the chance to wager on live sports and horse racing.

Station Casinos' Director of Race and Sports Analysis, Jason Simbal, spilled some deets on staffing. Treasure Island's sportsbook staff will join forces with Station Casinos, while the Mesquite locations will continue under their current overlords.

At Treasure Island, STN Sports will take over the Golden Circle Sportsbook & Bar, while in Mesquite, the sportsbook operations will kick off without rebranding or messing with the existing staff.

If this expansion goes off without a hitch, STN Sports will be operating a whopping 19 sportsbook joints across Nevada, beefing up Station Casinos' dominance in the state's sports betting market!

❗️Did you know?❗️ The new Treasure Island space will include a 3,089-square-foot venue equipped with 74 HD screens, 8 self-service kiosks, and mobile registration stations. The Mesquite Casinos will also be getting a piece of the action, with planned launches at Casablanca Resort & Casino and Virgin River Hotel & Casino.❗️Fun Fact❗️ The GameSTACK 2.0 system, set to replace Stadium Technology Group’s platform, was acquired by Station Casinos in December 2023. It will enable in-game wagering and support for both sports and horse racing bets.
