Sports Meeting to Invigorate India's Sports Startup Network; Minister of State for Defense Raksha Khadse to Speak at Event

The SPORTSCOM 'Giving Wings to Dreams' Conclave is set to launch on August 25, 2025, in New Delhi, India. This event, dedicated to nurturing startups driving innovations across the country, aims to highlight sports startups as the next growth engine for India.

Led by Raksha Nikhil Khadse, Shobhit Jain, Sanjiv, Joint Secretary at the Department for Promotion of Industries and Internal Trade (DPIIT), and other top voices of Indian sports, the conclave will bring together over 200 stakeholders from various sectors of the sporting ecosystem.

Incubation support for these startups will be extended by premier institutions such as IIT Madras, AIC IIT Delhi, and the Amity Innovation and Incubation Centre. The initiative aims to unite sport and enterprise, highlighting breakthrough ideas and sustainable business models.

Jalaj Dani, President of SPORTSCOM, stated that the conclave aims to build a strong and sustainable sports startup ecosystem in India. Dani Sports Foundation, Nivia, and Cosco India are Platinum Partners of the SPORTSCOM Conclave, joining Prime Partners like Jetsynthesys, Procam International, Transtadia Education & Research Foundation, Nutra Supplements, and T10 Sports.

Neeraj Jain, Director of Cosco India, and Shiv Prakash Singh, MD of Shiv Naresh, are among the attendees involved in the sports kitting business. Rajesh Kharbanda, MD of Freewill Sports, will also be present.

The SPORTSCOM Conclave will showcase innovations in equipment manufacturing, grassroots development, sports technology, athlete training, and fan engagement. A live startup pitch session will be a key highlight of the conclave, where shortlisted ventures will present their ideas to leading investors.

The event is taking place in the context of India's bids for the 2030 Commonwealth Games, the Youth Olympics, and the 2036 Olympic Games, making it a crucial step towards India's sports future. The SPORTSCOM Conclave is poised to provide a platform for the growth and development of India's sports startup ecosystem, offering a unique opportunity for early-stage sports ventures to connect with investors and incubators.
