Spouse takes life of partner
In the small town of Heppenheim, a tragic incident unfolded on Sunday evening. A 34-year-old woman lost her life following an attack in the stairwell of a multi-family house.
The suspect in this case is a 56-year-old man, who is believed to be the victim's husband. According to reports, the attack occurred after an argument between the couple in their shared apartment.
The 56-year-old man allegedly attacked his wife, resulting in her death. Despite his efforts to escape, the man was overpowered by a witness and held until the police arrived.
Upon their arrival, the police arrested the man at the scene. A warrant for his detention had been issued prior to the incident.
The 34-year-old woman was rushed to an ambulance but tragically did not survive her injuries.
