Squid Research Lab shares fresh info about upcoming Splatoon 3 game

In the vibrant world of Splatoon 3, players are introduced to a plethora of new elements that promise to enhance the gameplay experience.

The Zipcaster, a transformative tool, turns Inklings into shadowy warriors with tentacled abilities. This allows for rapid movement, creating chaos on the battlefield. The New Squidbeak Splatoon, consisting of Agent 1, Agent 2, and their captain, work together to take on the Octarian Army.

A fascinating character in the Octarian Army is a soldier who sports furry hair, an unusual trait for marine creatures. Meanwhile, the Squid Sisters, known as Callie and Marie, assist the player as part of the New Squidbeak Splatoon. They help in missions such as rescuing their grandfather, Craig Cuttlefish, and support battles with performances like Calamari Inkantation 3MIX.

Craig Cuttlefish, a retired captain of the Squidbeak Splatoon, continues to be a hero, patrolling the squid world.

A new stage, Eeltail Alley, is located in the heart of Splatsville and is popular among the town's young folk.

The game's single-player story mode is themed "Return of the Mammalians." In this mode, an intriguing structure called Alterna appears, offering a mysterious substance called Fuzzy Ink that pulsates like a living creature.

Inkling characters who come into contact with Fuzzy Ooze grow fur-like substances and lose their sense of self. However, Smallfry, the new allies in the Splatoon team, are immune to Fuzzy Ooze and can clean it up.

Smallfry are also capable of assisting Inklings in various ways, including activating contraptions and attacking Octarians.

The new Agent 3, the Splatsville youth and their Smallfry buddy, wear a Hero Suit that is flexible and durable. They are equipped with the Crab Tank, a new special weapon that allows players to attack with a rapid-fire gun, a wide blast cannon, and move faster as a ball.

The Trizooka, a modified version of a previous special weapon, now fires three blasts at once and can be used three times in total each use. Another modified special weapon is the Big Bubbler, which has been enlarged to protect allies in Turf War battles.

A demo version of C-Side's hit track, Clickbait, was discovered, featuring an electrifying rhythm and supercharged guitar. C-Side, a grungy, rebellious trio from the Splatlands, rose to fame without formal musical training.

Scorch Gorge, a stage seen in the previous video, was once undersea hydrothermal vents that now appear on land due to changes in the planet's surface and is designated as a national park.

Finally, the Killer Wail 5.1, a modified version of a special weapon from Inkopolis, features six autonomous megaphones that attack with lasers. This powerful weapon promises to add an exciting dynamic to the battles in Splatoon 3.

With these new features and characters, Splatoon 3 is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the Splatoon series.
