"Star Wars' Integration in 'Destiny 2' Now Revealed"

In an exciting development for the gaming community, Bungie has announced the release of a new expansion for Destiny 2, titled Destiny 2: Renegades. Scheduled to launch on December 12 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, this expansion marks a unique collaboration with Lucasfilm.

The storyline of Destiny 2: Renegades revolves around players fighting against the Praxis Order and Baron Imperium, who possess a superweapon. The expansion's gameplay includes cooperative Frontier activities and the use of Renegade Abilities.

One of the most intriguing elements of the expansion is the Praxic Blade, a lightsaber-like weapon that players can wield. A demonstration of its capabilities can be seen in the ViDoc, where the Hunter character is shown blocking and reflecting attacks with the Praxic Blade. Players can customise the Praxic Blade, both in terms of gameplay and visual aspects.

The maps on the three planets - Mars, Europa, and Venus - have been reconfigured to resemble Dagobah and Hoth from Star Wars. Players will complete objectives on these planets before being extracted and paid for their work.

In addition to the Praxic Blade, players can also obtain new gear and weapons from the three lead syndicates in the expansion: the Pikers biker gang, the Imperium's Totality Division sub-group, and the Tharsis Reformation of free-thinking Vex. Players can work with these criminal enterprises in Mars' Tharsis Junction, which is inspired by the Mos Eisley cantina.

An interesting feature of the Praxic Blade is that players can perform actions with it that no other weapon can replicate. One such action is seen in the ViDoc, where the Praxic Blade is used to deflect energy blasts.

Perhaps the most anticipated feature of Destiny 2: Renegades is the introduction of the Praxic Blade, which players can forge themselves after completing a pursuit in a new three-player dungeon alongside Aunor Mahal, starting from the expansion's release on December 2, 2025.

In summary, Destiny 2: Renegades promises an immersive gaming experience with its Star Wars-inspired setting, unique gameplay mechanics, and the introduction of the Praxic Blade. Fans of Destiny and Star Wars alike are eagerly awaiting the release of this expansion.
