In a recent survey conducted by Bitkom Research on behalf of the Digital Association, it has been revealed that personnel issues are once again becoming a stronger focus for many founders in German startups.

The survey, which was conducted on 152 tech startups in Germany, aimed to capture the current number of employees, including founders, and open positions, as well as prognosis for the current year. Despite the continued uncertainty in the economic environment, the scene is focusing on expanding its workforce in German startups.

The current average number of employees in German startups stands at 13, a decrease of 2 over the past 12 months. However, the survey shows that the majority of founders (75 percent) expect an increase in the number of employees by 2025, with only 2 percent expecting a decrease.

The survey also revealed that on average, each surveyed German startup currently has 2 open positions to fill. Among the three founders expecting to increase the number of their employees based on the survey results are Florian Scherl, Dina Reit, and André Soulier.

Last year, the average number of employees in German startups was 15. The general economic uncertainty did not pass by many startups without a trace, but now, the signs are pointing towards growth in employment numbers again.

Bitkom President Ralf Wintergerst has made a comment, but no specific fact was provided in the text. The survey, while not representative, provides a meaningful snapshot of sentiment within the tech industry.

In conclusion, the survey results indicate a positive outlook for employment in German startups, with a focus on expansion and growth despite the ongoing economic uncertainty.
