State Office performs mass wedding for 35 couples on notable dates in September

The registry office offers ceremonies at several iconic locations, including the Rathaus Benrath, Rathaus Kaiserswerth, Rathaus Eller, Rathaus Gerresheim, and Schloss Benrath and Schloss Eller. For those seeking a more unique setting, ceremonies can also be held on the "MS Rhein Poesie" or other ships of the White Fleet, or even on the "Traufloss" of the Unterbacher See.
The Island Street office, one of the busiest venues, boasts three ceremony rooms, one of which is equipped with a webcam for those who wish to share their special moment with loved ones far away.
On Monday, September 9th, 15 couples will exchange vows in Düsseldorf, while on Thursday, September 19th, 20 couples are set to say "I do". The responsible deputy mayor for these events is Prof. Dr. Andreas Meyer-Falcke.
By September 1st of this year, the Düsseldorf registry office had officiated 1,821 marriages. The date October 10, 2020, is considered a lucky day for weddings in Düsseldorf, adding an extra touch of romance to the proceedings.
