Stocks belonging to the Buryat leader have regained their initial value.
In August 2025, Alexei Tsydenov, Head of Buryatia, maintained his position in the "Stable" group on the Governors' Exchange, according to the analytical agency "PolitBroker". This performance was consistent with his showing in July.
Tsydenov's month was marked by several significant events. He visited the Baikal, Mukhorshibir, Bichursky, and Kyakhtinsky districts, and participated in an international forum on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Tsydenov also held a working meeting with Russian Minister of Agriculture Oxana Lut and a joint meeting with Russian Minister of Transport Andrei Nikitin.
In addition, Tsydenov spoke about the prospects of gasification in the republic by the end of August. He also met with a delegation from the Republic of Belarus in Ulan-Ude.
The Governors' Exchange, a platform that evaluates the performance of regional leaders, saw Tsydenov ending up in the "Moderate Decline" group in May 2025, but he rebounded in April with moderate growth. From January to March 2025, Tsydenov was stable on the platform.
Meanwhile, Igor Kobzev, Governor of the Irkutsk Region, continued to show moderate growth for January-August. On the other hand, Valentin Konovalov, head of Hakasia, and Yevgeny Balitsky (Zaporozhye region) found themselves in the "Dynamic Decline" group in August, with Konovalov returning to this group in September 2025.
Alexander Osipov, Governor of the Zabaykalsky Krai, remained in the "Stable" group in August. A new entrant to the "Dynamic Decline" group was Artur Parfenchikov (Karelia), who "stood out" in March, according to recent reports.
The month of August also brought some challenges for Tsydenov, with a fake video of him surfacing. Despite this, Tsydenov appeared energized and inspired, having attended the Baikal Youth Forum. He also met with the new General Consul of Mongolia in Ulan-Ude, Mr. Tsérendörj Ganhuyaag.
Previously, the Baikal-Daily reported about Tsydenov's performance on the Governors' Exchange. For the whole of 2024, Tsydenov was in the second most significant group of regional leaders, "Moderate Growth", on the platform. Tsydenov's stocks moderately increased in June 2025, and his joining the messenger Max also took place in August.
