In an exciting turn of events, a stolen mountain bike that had been missing for approximately two years has been recovered. The bike was found in the possession of a 38-year-old Polish citizen, who was stopped by the Federal Police at Görlitz station on Saturday evening.
The individual initially claimed to have purchased the bike from a flea market. However, upon discovery of the bike's true ownership, he corrected his statement, saying he had bought it recently from an unknown person.
