Bicycle Thefts Sweep Through Bielefeld

Over two days, from 4th September to 5th September 2025, several bicycle thefts have been reported in Bielefeld's city centre. The stolen bicycles include a Mondraker Pedelec, a Raymon E-Mountainbike, a green Dutch bicycle, and now a dark single-speed racing bike.

The first theft was reported at 11:30 on Wednesday, with the latest reported at 23:00 on Thursday. The stolen Mondraker Pedelec was taken from a garden shed in Lindenplatz, while the Raymon E-Mountainbike was stolen from a locked location.

On Thursday, a green Dutch bicycle with a backpack and its contents was stolen from Ravensberger Park between 18:00 and 23:00. A dark single-speed racing bike was stolen from the clinic car park at Burgsteig between 14:00 on Wednesday and 10:35 on Thursday, and its location at the time of theft is not specified.

Another E-Mountainbike of the brand Raymon and type Hard Ray in matt green was stolen near Brunnenstraße between 11:30 on Wednesday and 10:30 on Thursday. This bicycle was also stolen from a locked location.

The police in Bielefeld are currently seeking witnesses regarding these bicycle thefts.
