Streaming service StarzPlay obtains exclusive rights in MENA region for CIA suspense series 'Special Ops: Lioness'

Get ready for an exciting new series as "Special Ops: Lioness" is set to launch exclusively on the SVOD platform StarzPlay starting June 5, 2025. This CIA thriller, created by Taylor Sheridan, follows the recruitment of female operatives known as Lionesses for undercover espionage.

The series features a stellar cast, including Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, Laysla De Oliveira, and Michael Kelly in lead roles. Laysla De Oliveira plays Marine Raider Cruz Manuelos, a new recruit in the Lioness program, while Nicole Kidman portrays Kaitlyn Meade, a senior CIA official. Morgan Freeman takes on the role of US Secretary of State Edwin Mullins, and Michael Kelly plays CIA officer Byron Westfield.

One of the key characters, Jack Allen, is played by Morgan Freeman, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the series.
