The central construction department, if established in DB InfraGo AG, is proposed to handle all planning, construction, maintenance, and procurement activities. To ensure efficiency and quality, DB E&C is suggested to have a central role in project preparation and implementation. Procurement Infrastructure (Purchasing) is also to be integrated into this department.
