On Saturday, September 13, 2025, the city of Hanau, Germany, will host a unique event that blends education, culture, and coffee appreciation. The city walk with coffee tasting in Hanau's city centre is organised by Tuttocaffè, and the closing event with a fair coffee test will take place at "tuttocaffè" on the Market Square.
The event begins at 11 am and continues until 2 pm. Participants will embark on a city walk, guided by a speaker from the Environmental Center, where they will discover the diversity of fair trade and learn about topics such as biological diversity, climate justice, and the stories behind fair-trade products.
Business owner Gabriel Kämmerer will provide insights into the world of coffee, and various preparation methods of fair coffee will be presented, tasted, and compared. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the importance of sustainable coffee production and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee at the same time.
The market, held weekly on both Wednesday and Saturday, will also be open during the event. The market, located on the Hanau Market Square, will run from 7 am to 2 pm. Registration for the city walk is required via email at [email protected].
