Struggling Baywatch star spotted in weakened condition following mastectomy, cancer treatment struggles unveiled

Nicole Eggert, the former child star and Baywatch co-star with Pamela Anderson, has revealed that she underwent a double mastectomy as part of her ongoing battle with breast cancer.

Eggert, who was diagnosed with stage 2 cribriform carcinoma breast cancer in December 2023, shared the news of her surgery on Thursday. She had a mastectomy six days prior to her interview on the Amy and T.J. podcast in October 2024.

The cancer was discovered after a series of mammograms, biopsies, and self-checks. Eggert expressed regret that she did not perform self-exams earlier, stating it as a 'huge mistake'.

In February 2024, more cancer was found in Eggert's lymph nodes. Her doctor advised her to have a single mastectomy to speed up her recovery and start treatment quickly. However, the original implants she had got at the age of 19 may have made it harder to detect breast anomalies.

Eggert's biggest fear during her cancer battle was not being there for her daughters Dilyn, 27, and Keegan, 14. Despite her struggles, she has remained strong and positive, even undergoing a second mastectomy following the first one in October 2024.

On January 1, 2025, after her second mastectomy, Eggert received reconstructive surgery following the operation as part of her ongoing breast cancer treatment. The reconstruction was performed by Orange County plastic surgeon Dr. Kyle Song.

Eggert appeared particularly thin and frail during her grocery store visit in Burbank, California, on Friday. However, she was spotted wearing a punk rock-inspired outfit, including a black T-shirt featuring the cover of the Sex Pistols' 1977 single God Save The Queen.

Eggert's appearance has significantly changed since her days starring on Baywatch. She now sports a stylish platinum blond pixie cut. Despite the challenges she has faced, Eggert remains a beacon of hope and resilience for many.
