In a recent incident, a Form Three student from a school in Sabak Bernam, Malaysia, has been hospitalised following a fall from the third floor of a dormitory. The student, whose identity remains undisclosed, is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Sungai Buloh Hospital.

According to the feedback provided by the Selangor State Health Department (JKNS), the student's condition is stable and showing positive progress. The emergency treatment for the student's brain pressure was successfully completed within the first 48 hours, and as of the third day after treatment, the student's condition is reported to be more stable. The student is showing some positive responses to the treatment, and the medical team is continuing to monitor the student's progress.

Datuk Shazeli Kahar, the Selangor Police Chief, confirmed receiving a report related to the incident on August 26. The Selangor State Government, along with JKNS, will continue to monitor the student's health progress and provide necessary support to the family.

Jamaliah Jamaluddin, the Selangor Public Health and Environment Exco, expressed sympathy and prayers for the student's speedy recovery. She urged the public to give space to the victim's family during this difficult time. "We are hoping for the best for the student's recovery, and we ask everyone to respect the family's privacy," she said.

The student's gender is male, and he is in Form Three. The exact circumstances leading to the fall are still under investigation, but the incident occurred in the school dormitory.

Jamaliah Jamaluddin also emphasised the importance of safety measures in schools and dormitories. "We must ensure that our educational institutions are safe and conducive environments for learning. Incidents like these serve as a reminder for us to strengthen our safety measures," she added.

The Selangor State Government is committed to ensuring the student's well-being and safety, and they are working closely with the school and the hospital to provide the best possible care for the student.
