Suspect apprehended for breaking and entering
In the early hours of August 18, 2025, a break-in occurred at an inner-city school on Oswald-Berkhan-Straße in Braunschweig. The incident was reported to the authorities by a security company employee who noticed suspicious activity near the school building at around 3:30 AM local time.
Upon arrival, the Braunschweig Police found a 51-year-old man from Braunschweig hiding in bushes near the school. The man was found with burglary tools and suspected stolen goods, and he is now facing charges of aggravated theft.
